So, Please, Won't You Be My Half-Price Valentine?
Saving money doesn't mean I love you any less. It just means having a greater amount of money to buy a greater amount of chocolate hearts!

Yay, cheaper candy!!
Yay Alan Greenspan!! things ain't working? change the interest rate, put them on sale, lie about inflation. Yay!!!!
Yay first and second!
Yay clicking
I love me some half price chocolates! I should have stopped and grabbed some yesterday... maybe I will tomorrow!
Half-Price Valentines are awesome! James was gone most of Valentine's Day with work and school, so on Friday he came home with half-price roses for me. It was a complete surprise, and I was happy because he didn't pay full price!
I think you should start a movement. Stick it to commercialism. Declare Feb. 15th Half-Price Valentine's Day, Because You Care Too Much To Blow Your Money On Hype or Double The Chocolate, Double The Fun Day.
The not wife would approve. Whatever gives her more choc for her money!
I'm yours.
Half price or 50% off..which one?
i was at the grocery store on friday night and saw all the red rose boquets were half off. maybe that's the way to go with vday. just tell your girlfriend you can't celebrate on vday but you can the day after. then you can get into any restaurant and the roses are half off. score.
Ooooo! For double the chocolate, I'll definitely be your Valentine. Unless it's that Palmer's junk. Then nevermind.
Friends don't let friends eat Palmer's.
Yesterday, the hubs and I went to Target and bought each other a beautiful heart shaped box of cherry cordial kisses for $1.99. That's how much we loves each udder! ;o)
HA! I scored me a bunch of Valentine's day candy yesterday. Mmmm, I'm enjoying a 1/2 price Hershey's truffle kiss in your honor right now.
That doesn't sound like I'm coming on to you does it?
Not that I don't love your beautiful full head of hair.
My kinda shopper, you are. I love to shop the day after sales. I stock up for next year on non edibles. Chocolate would never last a month in this house, so a year is impossible.
I'm all for the half priced valentines!!! :)
Lady of Hearts, I haveth postedeth the picture of my haireth for your inspection. Eth.
No way. I totally wait until it's 75 percent off. Sure the only candy you get are those stupid hearts with the phrases on them plus Valentine suckers. But they're CHEAP, dammit.
I was at Target first thing Friday morning, and you wouldn't believe all the half price stuff I scored!
What Am I saying? Duh, of course you would! :)
I would love to be your half price valentine...or 75%,even better!
According to Linus (of the Peanuts) the amount you spend is in direct proportion the amount you care. I am all about the chocolate though and don't mind when I get it. I have to say that I am pretty darn excited about easter candy.... I bought a bag of candy the other day that had Kit-Kats, Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, Robin's Eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs... AWESOME!
Is this like being your part-time lover?
Chocolate tastes better when it costs less.
Ok...I take that back.
Chocolate tastes better when it WAS overpriced, but then marked down cheap.
Here's my trick. Stock up big time on the leftover candy after Christmas. Then separate the red and silver from the green and gold. That way I have Valentine's Day and St. Paddy's Day covered.
Happy Belated V-Day (no, not that one) to you, too.
Hee hee at Lauren. She's absolutely right.
hey smiling infidel,
i just got an email from Godiva which stated, "It's never to late to celebrate Valentine's Day."
Ummm, yes it is...if i waited till today to give my girlfriend some her heart, I may as well send it to myself.
rock on,
aitch
