And Now For Another Exciting Installment In The 'Stevie Wonders' Saga!

Today, Stevie Wonders if he can reinvigorate his career by tinkering with some of his song lyrics in hopes that Weird Al will agree to perform the revised versions and make them a hit amongst a demographic of younger listeners.

Suddenly 'Sir Duke' becomes 'Sir Dookie' and Stevie Wonder is cashing in twice on a 30-year-old song. Oh yeah, you can feel it all over. You can feel it all over, people.

I don't think I've ever been first before!
Oh that Stevie and his genius ideas! He would get so much air time in the Cor-Rut household (my house).

This is one of your more brilliant concepts in the Infidel Cult of Personality. And the Cousin It profile picture? You will become our idol worship....

I wonder what he'll come up with "I just called to say I put a cap in yo..." on the other hand that doesn't scan that well!

Dookie is that one album of GD's... you know, THAT one.

I'm waiting for Weird Al to come up with something new for "Hey There Delilah." That song's just begging for it.

Okay, I know you've used this picture of Stevie before, but today it just hit me: what a weird picture. He looks like he's posing for it--you know, hand under the chin and all--but his mouth is open. It's a strange pose. (At least, it is for a person. It would look great on Kermit the Frog or Miss Piggy or another muppet, but on a person...it looks like he's yawning with a smile, or trying to catch a bug.) Doesn't this strike anyone else as weird? I wonder: what was his publicist thinking?

And more power to you, Weird Al.

I think Steve looks like he is listening to super-fab music in that shot.
I also associate the word Dookie with stuff dogs do in the backyard that you have to clean up, as in dookie duty.

You're totally joking right?!
Poor Stevie!

I do love Weird Al though. he's almost the only thing I can let my kids watch on YouTube lol.

Dookie is another word for poop at my house...if that's not what you meant, I will be sooo disappointed!

I love the song "Sir Duke" but I am so lame, I never knew that was the name of it! I thought it was "You can feel it all over!"

Zach and I really enjoy Weird Al stuff...we would love to listen to some "Sir Dookie"...even it's a bit crappy.

And I'm loving your profile picture!!! :D

Dookie=dog do. I don't like that word at all. It just is ewww.

Who doesn't love a little Weird Al every now and then? Perhaps you should write the song out and send it in!

Weird Al doesn't use other people's ideas, sadly. I guess we'll just have to wait.

My favorite Stevie moment was when he was on SNL (during Eddie Murphy times) and they put him in a "commercial" for a camera, with a tennis guy... first the tennis star hit tennis balls and Stevie took pictures of him, then they switched... oh my freaking heck, it's hilarious. Sick and wrong, yes. But hilarious. They had Stevie say, "So easy, ANYONE can use it!"

Personally I'm waiting for that beloved Weird Al remake, anthem of partial domestic goddesses everywhere, "My part time Scrubber"

Nancy- I think Stevie's real name is Stevie FACE!

sketchy- I was going to suggest 'Part-Time Liver' as a sort of idea about a nifty little device that would kick in when you knew you'd be overloading your organs after a night of drinking. but then I thought it would just take way too long to explain.
