Basement Jaxx-Take Me Back To Your House

Do you enjoy videos featuring brightly outfitted Cossack dancers shaking it with unbridled joy? How do you feel about giant banjos with another little banjo player nestled inside of it? What about dancing bears? Do you like Russian stereotypes of men falling down drunk? What about Communist imagery of a military man in a Soviet tank while a peppy tune plays in the background? Do you like the sweet harmonious sound of the banjo mixed in with your club music? Have you been looking for a video that combines all of these elements? Your wait is finally over!

This is the Infidel Jam Of The Week. After hearing it, you will be powerless in stopping your body from throwing up your hands and screaming, "AAAWWWWW YEAAAH BOI. DIS RIGHT HERE? DIS IS MY JAM!"

Work beckons me forth. Tomorrow, I'll have a real blog post back up. Meanwhile, kick back, put your feet up, and enjoy a little Infidel music. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try any of that Cossack dancing at home. Those are trained professionals in the video and I cannot be held liable for any Cossack dancing injuries you may sustain.

Luckily, I'm in a crowded cafeteria, and nobody heard me say the "AAWWWWW YEAAAH BOI" thing. Because you're right, I was powerless.

I tried doing the dances, injured myself, and immediately had plans to sue you. But then I re-read the last paragraph.

That was SO awesome!. I will not try to the the Cossack dancing, instead I'll saddle my burro and try the cool trick thing she did on her horse...do you think it'll work in a burro?

Best Infidel Music video EVAR.

Thanks for that. Now I can until you get back from work.

I have tried that dancing before and I don't have the quads for it.

She really must be lonely because I didn't see a single man in that video that I would ask to take me home (even if I weas single.)

I downloaded the song, added it to my playlist, which makes me an Infidel groupie I guess.

You've got to hand it to Basement Jaxx.. THat vid where they are played by monjeys with their faces superimposed... Where's your head at?.. Excellent stuff!

Well, if the excedrin was working before, that clip just ruined any chances of my migraine going away.

Jams: that "where's your head at" video is totally bizarre (Super Happy Girl loves it).
Monkeys, mad scientists...brilliant!

Mimo, you should totally skip this one.

No, no, NCS, the video for you is Basement Jaxx's Rendezvous. It has Old West vibes, damsels in distress, mucho scary luchadores, turbanned people inexplicably riding around on scooters, a paper-rock-scissors duel, burros, cool song, a man in a hideous yellow suit. A must see!

omar- I was going to keep it a secret, Omar, but I bought you a pair of shiny Cossack pants for Christmas at M.C. Hammer's estate sale. Please don't give up trying just yet.

NCS!- Burros don't pose a risk of hurting you due to breakneck spped at least. Ha, I knew that great minds think alike and that you would so totally love this song! Okay, check out Rendezvous that I linked above and our other favorite JAXX song featuring frisky senior citizens, Oh My Gosh!.

carrot jello- This song is proven to ensure your chances of producing a Cossack dancer if you listen to it everyday while your baby is in utero.

mimo- This isn't the first time I've been accused of causing migraines! Sorry, ma'am, I hope you feel better. :)

on the run- Admit it, you would so totally go for a man in shiny balloon pants. You don't have to hold back your shiny pant lust here, you know. We all understand.

jams- The vid for that is OK, but I'm not fond of the song at all. I find Basement Jaxx real hit or miss for tracks that I really like.

WOW! luchadores, guitars, cool flamy car…even the quintessential Mexi Yellow Dog. Excellent

Oh My gosh - disturbingly unexpected.

Still like Where's your head at...

hey NCS-That Rendezvous video is the main reason that I haven't visited Mexico yet. I happen to suffer from a rare phobia called Nacholibrephobia, where I'm scared of a burly wrestler dude assaulting me with a record player. I also have recurring nightmares of men in yellow suits.

Hey, deja vu time, NCS! I have another anonymous stalker! The best thing is that he's commenting about this post, but he left his comment on this one instead. But, no, I'm the idiot. I so wish that I had an eye rolling emoticon right about now.

I don't know if it's because is so early and I'm cold, or just plain tired, that Anon comment was hilarious.

BWAHAHAHA, what a perdedor. Big time. I say we all point and laugh at him/her

Ahem...this is one's for you Anon:
"Hate me today
Hate me tomorrow
Hate me for all the things I didn’t do for you"

I was totally with ya until the horse trick and dancing bears...then I actually got a little confused.

So many comments, where to start? Ok, totally mesmermized by that video. I usually don't watch that kind of stuff all the way through, but I couldn't turn it off. Love the dancers...and the bears...and the horses you forgot to mention. I also like the guy in the tank. He reminded me of my hubby in his Hummer. :)
