And Together Papi And I Are Makin' Bacon!

Papi and I have a shared employer in common named Mr. O.
Mr. O enjoys referring to Papi as "Boss" on a daily basis.

"Boss" as in Boss Hogg from The Dukes Of Hazzard.
"Boss" as in "Hey Boss! Will you go and collect subscription money from this deadbeat customer in the dark of night even though he has NRA stickers pasted all over his rusted-out El Camino?"

Mr. O constantly calls me "Babe."
"Babe" as in the wee little sheep-herding piggie in the movie of the same name. Apparently I'm just like a pig in the city.
"Babe" as in "What's going on Babe? How much longer will you allow me to work you and your man to death for an itty-bitty paycheck that wouldn't even buy a barrel of pickled pigs feet on the black market?"

From my own perspective, this just further solidifies that Papi and I were meant to be together. We're a matched set, we are. Pig and Pig oinking happily into the sunset with our hooves intertwined. This goes a long way towards explaining why our house is such a Pig Pen all the time. And really I can't yell at the mini-Infidels for acting like little piglets anymore, can I? After all, it's certainly not their fault that they're a pork by-product.

I guess Pork:The Other White Meat only applies to me since my Papi is a striking shade of yummy mocha. :(

I'm sorry! I'm so distracted! All I can think of is "mmmmm... bacon!"

Sorry. ::blushing::

Let me know when you're feelin' like coming over. My mom has a recipe for Pozole that's out of this world! (the main ingredient being pork).
Nice boss you guys have there, sound slike he's stuck in the 50s.

Okay, I know you don't want to ask your readership so I'll do it for you.

People of The Infidel Fan Club, does Elastic not tickle your funny bone? (don't tell me if she does, I frankly don't want to know) Don't you laugh and leave here with a big smile and the knowledge that your day has become a bit brighter???

Then click on Humor-Blogs for her and show her your love!

Scroll down the side bar and click! Click like you've never clicked before! How can she be #76 when she has so many fans?

Thank you!

As you were.

All I can think about is the t-shirts my little brother brought home from his mission to Puerto Rico. One of them had two pigs on it (in a rather compromising position) surrounded by "Makin' Bacon" and the other had two dogs (in a similar position) with "Bury the Bone." Such a fine example for the LDS church, little bro. It's no wonder he didn't get married until he was 27.

So....does this mean you've got one in the frying pan? ;-)

Well, since you said no "Porky" jokes, what the heck am I suppose to write???

First off... the little birdhouse in my soul is awfully cluttered. And the bee in my bonnet is extremely painful...
onward!
I love Babe! :) Such a sweet little pig... and he never gets eaten. Just has to herd sheep. That doesn't sound too hard, does it??

Boss and Babe, and you come up with an adorable post like this. Now, WHY are you not writing for your paper?

Oh yeah. You work for the paper. Articles like this... well...

You know what, you should still do it. They'd probably love it.

My step mom use to have a game where we rolled pigs instead of dice. Your points depended on how the pigs landed... if one landed on top of the other it was called 'makin bacon' and you got a lot of points...

I am sure you will find that little nugget of info very useful.

Mmmm...bacon. Hope you have a nice little spider that lives above your pen to keep the hungry farmer away, elastic. 'cause bacon is MIGHTY TASTY.

Awwww Bee and Millie you guys are whoring me up like a prized hog featured for Christmas Dinner.......I may or may not already have an apple in my mouth.

I may be dropped down to #103 at humor blogs but its aight cause my skins thicker than chicharron(pork rinds!)

0n the run- My mom had the exact same game! We had swingers that lived next door. I'm glad that my mom stuck to games featuring randy swines rather than the games that the randy swines next door were playing. :)

Hi Wynne!!!! Your back!!!!

Theo- We're still digesting Candy Corn Soda from Halloween.....

Julie- No bacon in my skillet. I can and do bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan, though.

NCS- Porky's was the American Pie of the 80's. I haven't watched any of them but I'm thinking pork with apple pie makes a complete meal.

I love Babe...and bacon (yum yum)! But you are my favorite.

Somehow, that doesn't sound right.

When I first read the title I thought this was an announcement! Then I realized it was tribute.

You do put a smile on my face every time I read your blog. I love the way you think.

How do we get Mr. O to pay you more and stop calling you babe?!!!

Only your Mr. should be calling you that.

((((((((((hugs 4 U))))))))))

wish you cash them in for more bacon;)

For some reason this spawned an odd memory...
a few years ago when I was in college there was a billboard up by the main road for the local meat producer that said "Pork The One You Love". The first time I read it I nearly went off the road in a fit of giggles. Sadly, it taken down quite soon...I love it when people just don't notice other meanings of phrases...

It's' good to know my brain isn't entirely out of the ordinary when it comes to thinking about Piggies...

Hey, I just bought the pig dice game! I think it will be great fun for one of my kids to get for Christmas! I'm such a nice mom!

It won't be long before Boss & Babe are rollin' in the pork grease and makin' some big bacon! I just know it!!!

Okay so here is what my investigation has uncovered. Humor-Blog says: "Referral Score: 2 (based on 1 incoming visits in the past 7 days)" which is obviously wrong because I click from 2 dif. IP addresses Mon-Fri and once Sat-Sun.
I'm no math wiz but if I add 1 potato + 3 raw eggs that gives me 12.
If they start from Sunday you should have at least 5 from me not counting today!!

Does that make sense?? I just confused myself.

I thought this post was about job stuff for Papi. I have been out of the loop for the past week or so, but I haven't seen any news from you about that. Here's to hoping for good things!
