All I Need Is A (MATH) Miracle!

A isn't just for Algebra. It also stands for Agonzing, Annoying, Apocalyptic, and Aggravating. It's doubtful that there will be any A for Awesome showing up on my transcript this semester.
Have mercy, 18 years has served to completely obliterate the miniscule amount of equation-solving knowledge left in my brain.
Mathmagician, Mathologist, Mathlete......these are all words that will never be used to describe me.

Good luck with your Maths EWBL. I fell at the calculus hurdles. I remember throwing a textbook out of my bedroom window in frustration as I tried to get my head around the damned subject

Math is the #1 reason I would never homeschool.
I still every now and then will have nightmares about not graduating college b/c of a failed math class.

Thanks!

I'm really, really, really suffering right now.

Jumping in cold turkey after not thinking about Algebra for 18 years was a bad idea.

I think I'm going to have to drop this class and go for intensive tutoring to remember the basics.

Sad. This is going to stall my bachelors degree progress by a whole semester. :(

What's that song "Don't know much about Algebra....don't know much about science book.....don't know much about the French I took......."

I'm feeling like that song was written about me and my perilous journey through the house of math horrors.

Shad made his very first actual record (remember those round skinny flat things?) singing a song about doing his algebra. True story. They called their little band Johnny and the Square Roots.
I wonder if he has a recording online somewhere. I'll check.

I just sent to your yahoo account Shad's song--and I forgot--it's John Equation and the Square Roots.

Math is crazy...it can be great when you have a marvelous instructor, and sheer torture when you don't. SO SORRY about all the suffering! :(
